We offer many different types of CBB61 ceiling fan capacitors in 2-wire, 3-wire, 4-wire and 5-wire configurations.  Typically when a ceiling fan stops working or starts acting weird its a sure sign that the capacitors inside has gone bad or is starting to go bad.  The CBB61 ceiling fan capacitor controls the start and stop mechanisms of the ceiling fan as well as the different fan speeds.  These capacitors can also be found and used in many different motors in addition to the typical ceiling fan type application.  If you need a replacement capacitor simply look at your old capacitor and see how many wires it has total.  It should also have some wire (uF/microfarad) rating numbers stamped on the outter casing.  Each wire has its own (uF/microfarad) rating and you need to match that up as close as possible.  If you cannot find an exact matching capacitor on our website not a problem!  Our capacitors will work as long as the new one is within +1uf over or -0.5uF below your old capacitors uF ratings.  If you need help picking one out please give us a call at 800-581-8705.
