Most ceramic metal halide lamps require an electronic metal halide ballast to regulate the arc current and deliver proper voltage to the arc.  When replacing an electronic metal halide ballast be sure to use a ceramic metal halide bulb with matching ANSI codes to avoid any issues.  Our electronic metal halide ballast are for use with many different types of ceramic metal halide lamps.
