CBB61 ceiling fan capacitors control the different fans speeds, as well as the start/run mechanics of a ceiling fan.  If any of these things aren't working correctly, then it's a very good sign that you simply need a new ceiling fan capacitor to get your ceiling fan back up and running.

Ceiling fan capacitors will still operate correctly if they are within +/- microfarad (1uF) so if you cannot find an exact match then simply pick a capacitor with (uF) ratings that are within +/- (1uF) of the old capacitor.
